Tractors: record growth in emerging countries

Increases of 25% to 66% in number of tractors in India, China, Russia and Brazil expected in only five years. European and United States markets stable. Great gaps between different areas of the world. Tractor numbers in Africa twenty times lower than in Europe.

Trade Fairs: EIMA lands in New Delhi

The first edition of EIMA Agrimach, a static/dynamic review of agricultural machinery and equipment, will be held in New Delhi in December 2009 and organized on the basis of an Italian-Indian agreement. The accord was signed by the Indian Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, FICCI, and Unacoma Service, the service division of the Italian association of manufacturers of agricultural, earth moving and gardening machinery and equipment, a member of the National Manufacturers Association, Confindustria.

Planned for the two days of work, to be broadcast live in their entirety via satellite TV and the Internet, are a conference with technical reports delivered and a round table bringing together political authorities from the leading countries.
